hymnal of indigenous Asian hymns and songs from 20+ different
countries representing 40+ Asian languages. It contains 315
songs in western notation; the majority of the book's contents
come from "grass roots" churches. Each song includes a
transliteration of the featured language using standard romanization along with a singable English translation of the
text. The editor's notes contain performance suggestions and
more, and the book also has thorough indices.

Christian Music from Gambia CD 1
"Barakoo/Blessing" by Mariyama Suso (Elfi Bohl)
This missionary worked with Mandinka people in the Gambia for many years and
learned to play several instruments. The kora (harp-lute) and balafon
(xylophone) are featured. The melodies have their roots in Mandinka music
with lyrics from the Bible in that language. English lyrics in booklet.
