I attended an “Ethno Music and Arts” course in Thailand and after doing that course I had a deep desire to learn more about this subject. Then I received the invitation for attending an Ethnoarts analysis course. However, my family and I were quite anxious and felt a burden due to our financial load. But we felt that if this invitation is from God then He will make a way for me. So we started our prayer to our provider God.
Praise God He answered our prayer! He provided the needed funds to attend through the GEN Avery Fund Scholarship. I completely believe that it was God’s plan for me to come and learn more about Ethno Arts Analysis in Thailand.
I have deep longing to work with my worship and media ministry in Bangladesh. After returning to my own country, I contextualized it based on my language and culture. I share it with my team and we applied it in our own context. I may be the first Bengali person who came to Thailand to study Ethnoarts, so it is my deep aspiration to learn more for introducing this method among my nation.

The ethnoarts training made possible through the Avery Fund scholarship, truly impacted my ministry, and I thank God for that. We are excited to celebrate God's goodness through different forms of art and worship expressions through our work at Sacrifice Inter Church Trust (www.sacrificeict.org).
Your gift to the Avery Fund today can be a blessing of God’s provision to more pioneers like Aporna, enabling them to encourage creativity and worship among the many diverse people groups around the world.
