Greetings and Request for Materials

April 21, 2018GEN Resource Coordinator

Hello members of GEN,

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as GEN’s new Resource Manager and ongoing Social Media Coordinator. My name is Sam B (for security reasons, I would prefer to leave it at that), and I am an alumnus of the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics. Although I love all different kinds of artistic expressions, my passion centers on the dramatic arts and the oral/verbal arts of storytelling, poetry, riddles, and proverbs. Thank you so much for this opportunity to partner with you for the benefit of many.

In addition to briefly introducing myself, I would like to request materials for the online library. Articles, videos, lectures, books, examples of global artistic expressions—I would love to make whatever you have found interesting or helpful available to the other members of GEN. Furthermore, if you have any examples of multicultural artistry or works used to bridge generational, ethnic, and/or cultural gaps that you are willing to share publicly, please send me those as well with a note so that I can share some global artistic expressions on Facebook. In the note, please mention your willingness for me to post the artistic expression to Facebook, the name of the communities who creates that artistry, and whether you would like your name attached to the Facebook post.

Thank you so much and I look forward to working with you all!

Best regards,
Sam B
